/4 They had to weigh every bomb to make sure they weighed 25 pounds +/- a pound and use a template to check for straight fins. I can’t remember the name of the pod but it was a bomb drop simulation package. We dropped the bombs in MCAS Yuma. The actual bomb strikes were reconciled with where the computer said they should have struck. With the technology today it doesn’t seem too big a deal, but the computer was pretty right on.
