NAWC China Lake includes about 1,800 square miles of owned and leased land about 120 miles NE of Los Angeles.

Restricted Airspace extends several times the size of the center over the surrounding area.


The R-2508 complex includes R-2505 & R-2506 (China Lake north), R-2524 (China Lake south), R-2515 (Edwards) and R-2502N & R-2505E (Ft. Irwin).
